For the cake:

  • 125g of wheat flour
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 225g of sugar
  • 1 tablet of white chocolate (150g approx)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. tea yeast
  • 200g of butter
  • 1 c. tea vanilla essence

For the cover (optional):

  • 100 to 150g of white chocolate
  • 2 c. tablespoon butter
  • 2 cups of coffee milk

– Mode of preparation –

  1. Start by heating the milk over a medium heat. Add the butter and with a spoon stir well until the butter is completely melted.
  2. After you pour the milk in a container, let cool, and add the white chocolate broken to pieces. Stir again everything up until the chocolate melt. It is important that the milk is not too hot when you put the chocolate not to burn.
  3. In another bowl mix the flour, the sugar and the eggs and, using a mixer, stir the dough and add the prepared milk with the white chocolate. Beat until the mixture is well homogeneous.
  4. Finally add the vanilla essence.
  5. In a form previously greased with flour and butter, pour into prepared cake and bake in the oven, pre-heated to 180º C, for 25 to 30 minutes. Check with the help of a toothpick on the state of baking of the cake.
  6. You can cover the cake with a white chocolate coating. To do this, place a pan in a bain-Marie the white chocolate, a little milk and butter.
  7. Stir well until the ingredients are melted and spread over the cake.

  2. After you prepare the chocolate. Cut the chocolate into small pieces and melt it in a bain-Marie. When almost melted, add hot coffee and butter. Stir and let melt.
  3. Separate five egg yolks and beat the egg whites with sugar into the castle. Add, slowly, the mix of chocolate, coffee and melted butter to the yolks, without the cook.
  4. Then, incorporate the pureed beet.
  5. Then, sift the flour, baking powder and cocoa into the mixture.
  6. Finally, incorporate the egg whites slowly with a spatula. You should avoid working too much the dough, so the cake stays light.
  7. Place the dough in a form previously greased with butter and bake in the oven, pre-heated to 160 C for 30 to 40 minutes.
  8. Serve with a dollop of crème fraîche or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 150 g softened butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups sifted powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa
  • About ½ egg white

 

Procedure (Chocolate Cake):
Turn on the oven and set it at 175 degrees.
Pipe the cake together.
Pour batter into greased cake form with a chimney or rand terms.
